1. Who is responsible

2. What data we collect

When you book a consultation: name, e-mail, WhatsApp, answers to the form (for example, field of work and goals), language, time zone and confirmation that you agreed to these terms.

When you pay: payment is processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number; we keep only the status, amount and transaction identifiers.

When you submit a testimonial: your rating, text, the name you choose to display and your publication consent.

Technical data: to prevent abuse (spam and bots) we use your IP address in a protected form (converted into an irreversible code) and Cloudflare Turnstile.

3. What we use it for

To deliver the service you purchased: reserve the slot, confirm payment, send the video-call link, reminders and cancellation or rescheduling notices.

To contact you about your consultation and, with your permission, to request and publish a testimonial.

To protect the site from fraud and abuse and to meet legal and tax obligations.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Legal basis

Performance of a contract (booking and payment), consent (testimonial and optional communications), legitimate interests (security and fraud prevention) and legal obligation (tax records).

5. Who we share it with

Only with providers needed to run the service: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, hosted in São Paulo, Brazil), Vercel (website hosting), Cloudflare (DNS, e-mail and bot protection), Resend (e-mail delivery) and Google (Google Meet and Calendar).

Some of these providers may process data outside your country, with appropriate contractual safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses). We may also disclose data when required by law or by an authority.

6. How long we keep it

For as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and tax obligations. Published testimonials stay online until you ask for removal. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Cookies

We only use essential cookies: one that remembers your chosen language and Cloudflare Turnstile cookies (security). We use no advertising or audience-analytics cookies. If that changes, this page and a cookie notice will be updated first.

8. Your rights

You may request: confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdraw your consent at any time.

Just write to contato@cariocanaeuropa.com. We will reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or with Brazil’s ANPD.

9. Security and minors

We use encrypted connections, role-based access control and an audit log of staff actions. No system is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk and to notify you and the authority in case of a relevant incident. The service is intended for people aged 18 or over.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is at the top; relevant changes will be announced on the site or by e-mail.
